The food tastes good. It's not great, but good. The server was courteous and prompt. My food was also ready in a timely manner. There's nothing special about the ambiance. However, I was there during the workday. This may be a different story in the evening or during the weekend because they certainly have the space.
Definitely a very casual restaurant but a great place to grab a very flavorful bite of food! The service is quick and easy. There are definitely a few tables to eat inside but I normally think of it as a to go place. Very clean if you do want to eat inside. Literally can't go wrong with anything you try
If you're looking for real Haitian food... this is the spot. I crave this almost every week it's so good! I personally have never been inside of the establishment I've always gotten it to go and had someone grab it. But I will say the have this drink you can request they make it in a bucket.. it's to die for!! Along with their fried pork, rice and beans, plantains, and pikliz!
One of my favorite place to get Haitian food. Everything on their menu is good and well spiced. Their "bouillon" ( vegetable soup with meat) is the best( on the menu on Saturdays). Prices are reasonable and portions are good. Don't let the appearance of the restaurant fool you , count on always getting authentic Haitian food.
The food is pretty consistent, customer service some nights better than others depending on who is working up front. Always check your food to make sure its what you orders..just like at ANY RESTAURANT. Typical Haitian restaurant..do NOT go if in a rush! But food is pretty good!
